One was right across the road yesterday, when it looked like this.

It was yellow.

Today there was a big green one over there.

Now it looks like this over there. Shouldn't have to worry about my interweb signal being blocked for a few years anyway.

98% of the ones around here are all on tracks , did that one have a saw or a shear on it?

Both had saws on them. What they were cutting right there was pretty much just poles, no big stuff. They're chipping all of it anyway.

Surprised they don't just go in with a Hydroax or similiar machine. if they are just chipping it mow it down. This thing was interesting to watch and more so to run and load. controls similiar to a loader but hydrostat on floor. and only foes so high but can cut just about anything

Nothing runs like a Deere so they say. From the time I had hauling them they have definetly come a long way. They are some tanks. Still like a Tigercat

When I was working for Conestoga Roofing, we were doing tho roofs on two of tigercats plants.....awesome machines.....caught a few "quality control" tests of finished machines....twisting them on ramps, trying to get em stuck, testing all the systems in their yard....fun to watch

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

we never had to have the ser.# on our permits in Wa. just a description of what is being moved, all equipment moving the load had to have correct #'s , truck, trailer, booster, jeep. but not the load...........thank god I don't think wsp is allowed to leave the ground and climb on equipment, unless they have a "reason"

Arkansas you can get a multi county permit for 6 days. what was happening is people where moving the same type of machine with the same permit so now all forestry needs ser# on the permit. eliminates the guy trying to move 5 machines on 1 permit. Oklahoma requires sn on all loads with permits. they will look. some will look the other way but it is few and far between

Looked around a little more today, the timber crew's not working, been drizzling rain here all day.

Spotted something i'd never seen before- it's on the far right side of this picture.
