I've looked into these but found the studs not long enough to fit through the bracket with 65 rears. I don't think it's safe to take apart the chamber and install longer studs.

A friend of mine bought a b61 dump and it looks to have 44k rears but the brackets look to be the same as mine and I'm pretty sure the truck has there's maxi chambers on them I'll take a few pictures when I get down there

I'm happy to report that I been making good progress with my truck, in the restoration and with finding parts. I finally got some paint on the frame and working on getting the engine and transmission painted.I found a 237 with a Jake brake to replace the 711 and pickup up a Tulsa winch.

237 in there is gonna make that a sweet rig to drive. just don't drive it like a maxidyne is meant to. I've been told the 72 series trans cant take the lugging like the 5 and 6 speeds put behind the maxidyne engines originally. looking good rudy!

I love the B81's. I've seen rigs where you had a B81 pulling a 100 ton capacity lowboy. Seen plenty of pictures where the B81 was pulling a big old cable shovel weighing in the neighborhood of 60 to 75 tons. The bridges moaned under the strain. The drivers in the car behind the rig complained because it was crawling up the mountain no faster than a man could walk. Meanwhile the B81 driver is praying to the Lord with all his might that he would have enough brakes to get down the other side alive. But at the end of the day when the dust settled and the equipment was unloaded, a man knew he had accomplished something.
