that's still/was still available from Mack. 4QM12P5 was the number. its the same as used on RD800 butterfly hoods. just comes longer and you have to cut it to length. most good restoration supply companies have it as well as a lot of older cars and trucks used the same strip.

Strip and the end caps as well, not cheap $225.00 for new old stock, End caps $82.00 a set. $307 for complete assembly. I bought a set a year ago.

For $307, I think I can paint my old one with chrome and live with it.

Mine was mangled up and I wanted OEM for my B. I figured every time I'm behind the wheel I'll have to look at it, plus I bought a set of NOS hood halves for it a few years ago at Hersey so why not go all the way. Paul
