Long post there...thank you Brocky, thank you very much, I certainly do appreciate everyone's concern.

Oh, I saw this girl in Winfall on the way home. She wanted me to help her look for a quarter she lost in the back of her van, but I told her I didn't feel too good.

Uh...I usually agree with you when it comes to avoiding strangers, but I think she would have been goo for what ails you.

Glad you made it home and are feeling better. I got food poisoning on the road and was stuck at the Sheets in Mount Jackson, VA for a day and a half. I couldn't even get out of the bunk to get my drink out of the cup holder. When one is sick, there's no place like home (clicking my heels).

Jim

I got the flu years back, and made into the old Duke Truckstop,Buckeye Lake,OH don't think I've been that sick since! all I wanted to do was get a room, crank up the heat and pass-out! lady at the check-in desk said" Bud,you don't look too good" I said, "I felt like I was dead, and no one had told me" They made a point to check on me,bought me some Theraflu (some nasty shit) and even went and brought me some homemade soup, never forgot the kindness, and made it a point to let them know how much it was appreaciated. Not too many people nowadays would go above and beyond for a stranger............place is long gone now,but I still remember, and always stopped in when I could, had some pretty damn good pies/cakes there too!.................................Mark
