Avianca 1/2 mile from home in Oyster Bay, Flight 800 3/4 miles of the house in Shirley, A Cessna 2 blocks away, A P-40 fighter from the Air Museum a mile away in the Atlantic and in the 70's an F-14 at Grummans, that over flew the 50 cal rounds it test fired. Now we're moving to Fork Union and Planes fall out off the sky as a welcome sign. I didn't even notice the house because there was frozen water all across the highway there in a spot about 15 or 20 feet long. It was only 12 degrees at the time.
