In my care full examination of the subject matter of which way the mirrors go I have diligently poured over factory photos and combed through various factory brochures of Mack trucks.

Conclusion based on this research: Mack Dogs Face in

It appears that the picture above that Mr. J Hancock originally posted is an anomaly and whomever was responsible for putting the mirrors on that one particular truck for the photo shoot must have been fired for his or her incompetence.

Shown below is a small sampling of the factory brochures used in the research, you easily note in the photos all Mack Dogs face in. It is also fair to note on this subject that there was a surprising amount of stainless steel flat and stainless steel and black painted bubble faced mirrors shown on various models of trucks and I even saw a stainless steel lighted mirror.

Well first thing this morning I switched the mirrors around.

Spent the rest of the day running parts. My dad made mud flaps, I sheared the polished diamond plate pieces on tops of the flaps. The edges were ground then flaps were installed.

Afterwards we installed the toolbox on the truck. It's brand new just needs a polish.

Thanks for changing mirrors, Looks better now. The Mack part numbers for the mirrors have a L and an R in the part #. If you go by the part # , you got the dogs right now. However with the new volvo part # I don't think there is a left and right . But not sure.

Hey jake how's your build going?love those old macks my boss has an 04 and 05 granite but last year he found and bought me a 1990 rd 690 with 346000 miles on it and now that's my daily driver em6 300l with a seven speed pulling a 1979 20 ft axle frame less dump the other driver won't drive it it's too slow and old BUT st the end if the day 14 loads are 14!! postore pics if you have time happy holidays
