Thanks for the compliments, nice to hear from other who appreciate the hard work that goes into a project like this.

Snowdog, yes I know what you mean. For us it's a matter of pride. When my father and uncle started the business, they started with the blue Mack and the yellow Mack which was also blue and a regular tractor.

A lot of hard work and dedication has gone into maintaining making these trucks what they are today. Our trucks are our flagship. They are a reflection of who we are. As that's my last name on the door.

I couldn't agree more with what you said. My dad and I also use 2 superliners everyday for our business and our trucks are our pride!! People ask all the time why we keep them so nice but like most the trucks are our business cards!! And who doesn't like being noticed in a chromed out shinny superliner!

Very impressive stuff you have there, Jake86. Thanks for this thread and all the pictures.

Thanks WG!

Haven't done much work in her lately. We pulled the fuel tanks, and the passenger side tank was rusted pretty bad were the straps were. I called a local company and I am having them make me two new fuel tanks to factory specs.

I also picked up these guys. 5a94ac07e7b799b7424064df61966a1f.jpg

Hi, I'm Jake.. I love old Mack's. Trucking is in my blood. My great-grandfather drove truck. My grandfather had Mack's, and now my father and uncle have Mack's.. 4 of them to be correct. All superliners. We picked up this 1989 RW753 from a relative who basically let the truck rot in a barn for the last 15yrs. Since tearing into this truck I have learned one thing. I never truly appreciated how out well our trucks were maintained, until I began this. The truck is your basic Michigan special. It has a 3406B, 13spd, 44k lb Mack rear ends, 20k lb front axle, etc..

I"ll update with pics in a bit

The stack of parts is diminishing slowly, but surely..
