bigrigclassics Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 The question I have is there any thing I need to chqnge to take a slanted engine out of a MB-600, and mount it at a 90° angle, in a F-700? I know that Cummins 80° slant engines have extra oilers to feed oil to the top of the engine. Is the same true for Mack engines? Any help would be greatly appreciated! bigrigclassics Posted February 27, 2015 Author Share Posted February 27, 2015 I had an L-9000 Ford (don't laugh) that had a Bigcam Cummins. It had oiler tubes on top of the heads to keep oil on the valves. Maybe it was a Ford thing, but they were Cummins parts. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theakerstwo Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 I have worked cummins engines for years and only over head oiliers they used was on a pancake engine which lays on its side.If your ford had oilers you was looking at something else.White slanded their engine also in some models.
