Looks good when my gauges come in I will be changing the volt and oil pressure on mine I will let you know then, I think the water temp will be the hard one.

They're not that hard to change. The oil line screws off the back of the gauge and the water temp should be electric, so there's only 4 wires to take off with a 5/16" or 3/8" nut driver, unless it's a manual sending unit, in which case you have to start at the water manifold and work backwards to the dash. If I can do it, anybody can. Your dash looks good. I'm a fan of keeping them original for the most part, but what you did looks just as nice.

When I take the 4 screws that hold the panel in place there is still tension. I'm thinking the oil pressure gauge is holding it in. Not sure how to remove it.

I have had to tug on them to get a little slack before. Try pulling your speedo and tach panel loose. I can't remember, but you may be able to peek in from behind the tach and see what's hanging you up.

Nice upgrade,Scott! Like to keep them somewhat original myself. But that does look nice, even if it's not OEM. I call it "personalizing" your ride. Al

Well thanks. I use my truck everyday so I like keeping her sharp!

the oil pressure gauge has a sensor on the back that a wire hooks in to mine was turned so it sat behind the dash so had to pull it out to the side with a twist, I did not pull the center dash like jake said but I will when i do the install, my temp gauge is manual so I have to start at the engine to redo that panel.

I would say they look High-tech.

My personal preferance is a stock look although it's much better to have it carefuly customized than poor or ruined.

My like is under the pic :)

Looks good Scott, did you ever find a good place to run your boost/vacuum line?

I ran it to one of the ports on the intake manifold and used a snubber to eliminate the gauge flutter. Seems to work good. I didn't want to cut and tap into the cooler piping.

I got mine today and this is what they look like. I ordered from summit the gauges were $40 each but spent $100 to take advantage of free shipping, I ordered a few odds and ends and still waiting on a wire wheel. I need to heat the upper corner with the heat gun to shrink it but other than that I think turned out pretty good. (the gauges are straight its the angle of the picture)

Lookin good!!!

Lookin good!!!

What did you use to cover the dash panel? I bought a vinyl print that matched pretty close to the original, I had to buy a roll of it when I redid the R so I have a lot left over.

Do you mean where mine is black and yours is wood? If so mine is a superliner 2. They had black planels.
