B/U ;ites don't work, indicator on dash is very dim.

where is switch on transmission-Eaton 10 spd?

Background-we had VERY heavy rain two weeks ago. 8 inches in less than a day.

Two days later, while running down road, indicator got bright and could see B/U lites and alarm are on. at 50 mph.

Imagine water shorted something somewhere, but need to start at trans. switch

any and all ideas appreciated.....Ed

I don't want to steer you wrong, but usually the switch is on top of the transmission. It will have 2 wires coming off of it. Unplug it, check for power(key on). If there is power, jump the plug with a paper clip. Back-up lights should come on. If lights come on, problem with switch. If they don't come on, its not the switch. Its something else.

My disclaimer… I don't know if newer stuff is like this. I only work on old crap trucks.
