S and K made some good money on his stuff. Those Granite automatics went for 77500 a piece and some guy bought two 2008 dierzen dominator steel trailers for 38000 each!!!

I should of waiting till the sale to sell my 1980 fruehaff dump trailer (22 foot aluminum) new brakes, painted wheels (black chrome theme ) woulda prob got 20k for it since it was one of the only aluminum trailers. Instead i sold to a guy two months ago for 10000. Oh well

I toyed around with the idea of getting a newer truck but i like what i got and i like having zero payments so ill stick with the r model!

I've always liked the idea of no truck payment, but a trailer payment. New trucks = more problems/downtime, more wieght, payments. New trailer will give you something to depreciated out and weigh less which = save/ make you money. Just my thoughts. Except for the new truck we got last year, all the other tractors are 9 years old and up, but we buy new wagons damn near every year.

must be auction week. we had our auction at work yesterday. liquidated about everything. 82 R686 with new Remack 300, 9 speed roadranger and 38's on camelback with a really bad double frame brought 11,500. 72 Dm with a new 237, 6 speed low hole and 44 rears with a new Beaurock brought 9500. I thought both went high. DM went local. dunno who bought the R. pretty sure exporters didn't get either tho.

it all sold,my cousin's father in law sold the Superliner,he's wishing now he would have called me before he took it to the auction, friends of mine bought the '79 R686,and I just happened to run into the DM on my last trip to Muscatine, followed it until it pulled in the drive of it's new home,I'm guessing it will have a potato bed on it next time I see it.

Yeah someone got some deals. And i cant believe how straight that bumper is on the R that went for 2500 lol

That whole truck was straight, just a very little rust in the corners, easy fix.even had good rubber. Talked to my friend that bought it yesterday,he said it runs and drives great, even has a PTO
