Within the first 2 hours I talked to my sisters in MN and Japan, cousins in NY and NC, and nieces in OR and Japan. I'm not one to want to spend a lot of time on the phone and as a result I don't speak to family members for months at a time. At 52, I'm the youngest of my generation with the oldest in her late 60's. If I use my cel more than a dozen minutes a year it's a lot. Has it really improved our quality of life? I get tired of seeing people walking/driving around in a daze texting or talking on their phones. Only the wifey and my mom are important to me (well maybe some BMT people). Wifey knows how to get in touch with me when we are not together and mom is almost deaf and in a nursing home with dementia. Otherwise, call and leave a message or send an email. If you call, send me an email so I can make sure the cell phone is turned on.
