Hi,

I started to install my good used Camshaft into my engine tonight. Well guess what, it's pretty much shot too. I cleaned it up and started to look closely at it and there's pitting and the metal is almost flaking off the lobes in spots. I looked at a few internet places for cams and they seem quite expensive. Is there a place that regrinds or rebuilds cams for these or anyone have a good used cam I could buy. I never knew these engines had cam problems till now.

Thanks

Morgan

Went up to Delphi and scored a camshaft from b61mack (Ron Bogan). We checked out all his goodies and got a few more items I needed for my truck. Had a good time visiting and went out for a steak, don't get much better than that!
