Another Fuller equipped Canadian Mack... always 15 speed too. Why is that?

It was a cheaper spec then a Mack trans at the time, was one of the higher torque rated trannies at the time and the 15 speed Fuller could be used for on highway hauling and had gears good enough for the gravel haulers to deliver a load of stone off road. We had 15 speeds in most of our 80's Macks and they did very well in all applications with very few issues.

I actually got pricing on a 15 speed for a CH in the 90's. They are still available for order today but are actually more expensive on the build sheet then a 13 or 18 speed.
