Both Mack diesel and gas Thermodynes have the same oil pan.

And generally the same block.

I have Mack NM 6x6 with 707 in it.

It has the pan reworked to clear up the front axle and different oil pump with the drive from the front end of the crank.

I'd agree it would be the 401 and heck we are all interested. We just don't all have the means to make it happen! That should be fairly rare, right? I'll have to look it up but there can only be precious few of those left and darn few made to start. Pics please!
