I took a lot of pictures this week...but, upon further review...I don't think any are worthy of the Pulitzer prize for photography. I saw this Superliner inside that fence.

I think that's a U model down at the far end of the line, but I didn't get a picture.

Got a photo of the B model on rt. 422 just east of Indiana, Pa. It's parked level, I just had the camera tilted- had to take the picture out of the passenger window. The red MH was there too, but I didn't get a picture.

Then I saw a train on the horseshoe curve-

Had some John Deere tractors on it.

It had some engines in front.

The flag is still there too.

I saw a big red Mack truck in Richmond.

And a nice looking Fairlane in Vera, Va. when I was on the way back to the shop.

Then, on the way back up the road with another load of lumber, I saw a girl in a car.

Here's another one, in case the first one was no good.

I met greendash on rt. 220, just south of Fincastle. I saw him about a dozen times this week, as usual, but I only took the one picture.

The wind has been blowing something fierce all week. I tried to take a picture of the wind, but that didn't work out too well. I did take one of this flag- it's huge!

And it's almost sticking straight out.

This was going down Powell Mountain on rt. 19- motor home towing a pickup with a motorcycle in the back. It's a wonder they didn't have a boat behind the pickup.

The next day I saw snow in Conneaut Lake...snow.

If you are talking about the flag by the Horseshoe Curve, it has been there for several years. It is more difficult to see when the leaves are on the trees. Never heard anyone say how it got there.

Weirton, West Virginia. I'm heading down rt. 2 to go load some coils in Follansbee.

That's Steubenville, Ohio across the river.

This girl was going for a jog during lunch break at Wheeling Nisshin Steel in Follansbee.

Coils I loaded. This was taken in Madison Heights, Va. when I unloaded this morning.

I went back north and crossed over the bridge into Ohio and went down rt. 7.

Some ships in the ocean...or perhaps some tug boats on the Ohio River.

I've posted this several times before, but it might be the sharpest looking dump truck ever.

Then I crossed this bridge at St. Marys back over to West Virginia.

I was going to go across rt. 60 from Charleston, but I had to take a detour down rt.61 to Montgomery because 60 was closed because of a rock slide. Rt. 61 was half as wide as twice as crooked as rt.60. Then when I got to Montgomery the bridge that goes back over to rt.60 had a 30 ton weight limit on it, and I had on over 47,000 lbs. I didn't get caught, and more important, the bridge held.

Glen Ferris, rt.60. The water was high, usually there's a lot bigger waterfall there. Usually lots of people fishing there too.

Chimney Corner.

Just past the Hawk's Nest overlook I saw a sign that said "one lane road ahead". I figured it was for construction. Then I saw another sign- "traffic emergency,1000 feet". So I figured it must be an accident. But it was none of the above, it was just that half the right lane was gone, washed away.

No evidence of any kind of repairs to be seen, just some orange barrels around the hole where the road used to be...it's only about 800 feet or so down to the bottom of the gorge though, no worries.

I'm not sure, but several years at least. I first noticed it when I was still driving the Peterbilt and i've been in the KW over 3 years now.
