Looks like there's plenty of room under the hood. I bet it's gonna be easy to work on. I figured the hood would open sideways like a B model, but it tilts forward, and the fenders stay with the frame. The hood is surprisingly, very light. It's a neat little truck.

that tilt hood was new for ‘68, you could’ve ordered either way in that year.

Did you buy it off the original author of this thread? jakebrake86? It looks like he has not been around since 2017.....

It looks like a corn binder. I really like the long nose.

Hendrickson was one of the many companies who used the I-H CompfoVision cab. Most of them used the assembled unit although Diamond T bought the raw stampings and assembled them in house..

Was browsing the auctions today and saw the Hendrickson from this thread is selling today. @storkmack was fixing it up about two years ago. He hasn't been on the forum since June of 2023. Anyway I saw it for sale and remembered this thread so I thought I would post an update. This truck has been around a good bit lol. I'd love to have a Hendrickson in my collection some day and this one would be perfect, however I just purchased a farm and "frivolous" expenditures just aren't in the cards right now. 🤣

I had to resign up with a new user name.   Sure hope the new owners enjoy it as much as we did.
