Paul, that's cool you shared that.

Don't know how it would be for the rest of you native folks but to me it was a real tongue twister.

I agree on the paint work.

cummins had a series of engines of a larger size than the 855 that we all know of. the T series was avaible in a vee, known as a vt series and the K which were in line engines if i remember my history right.they also had individual cylinder heads instead of paired like the 855.

Banjo Paterson I would think would have to be Australia's most famous poet

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banjo_Paterson

Paul but my favorite Australian poem would be this one "My Country" http://www.dorotheamackellar.com.au/archive/mycountry.htm

and particularly this verse it makes me feel all a bit strange in side

The K came in 3 ratings that I remember KT-450,KTA(aftercooled) 525 and 600hp. There was a story in Owner/Operator magazine years ago about a guy with a Freightliner conventional pulling a bulk tank with KTA-525 under the hood. He said in the article,Freightliner wouldn't warranty the frame rails higher than the 525 rating. Later a buddy told me he had a KT-450 in his Freightliner conv.,and the torque of the K broke his frame. Go figure! Al
