Hello BMT! First post!

I have been casually looking at trucks and have always had a soft spot for the dogs. I love the look of the Rawhide, to me it looks like a modern day Superliner! Only downside is its produced after 03.

My question is, can you "convert" a pre 03 SFA CH to "look" like a Rawhide? Is there enough clearance to run the side exhausts? Also I love the toolbox steps instead of the Fuel tanks, would it be possible to move the tanks back and throw the boxes up front? The Cabs look identical, but I have never seen an older CH run side exhausts.

Also besides running the MP series engines what are the differences aesthetically between the old CH613 and Vision and the new Pinnacle SBA and SFA? Thanks!

Anything is possible if you have the time and the skills. I thought about putting side exhaust on my vision you can buy the side valance panels from a rawhide and they will mount to any CX or CH cab to give you the cutouts for the exhaust. I have seen Cx visions with the side exhaust from the factory.

I have seen this CH from OH several times it has the step/tank setup you may like. This truck is older than 1999 as it has the flat cab roof and old style dashboard.

As far as I know it's the same hood and cab since it came out in I think it was '89. Besides when they made the cab longer in '08. So I would think you can transfer most of the new stuff to an older one.

I always said the same thing. Kinda like a modern Superdog.

Here is me and my friend loading at the same time. His is on the left, '97 and mine on the right is a '12. Not much changed.

Could still be a '99, my truck has the 1st gen dash and flat panel cab roof.

We had a 06'SFA Rawhide CHN. From factory with a 460XT ASET and ran a 5" exhaust up the sides between the cab and sleeper. If I remember correctly the sleeper seemed to be mounted higher as the trim on the lower portion of the bunk was different and larger. I have a picture in my profile photo gallery of the door and how the exhaust comes out from under.
