we have a superliner with a e9 500 that is using anti freeze and we cant find a leak. it also smokes or steams out of the engine breather tube some times especially right after you start it. what could cause this? head gasket or something more serious? the engine has 25000 hrs.

A compression check of the engine is in order. A lot can be learned from this as to overall condition of engine.

liner orings get an oil sample done quick

Or when the engine is cold loosen the drain plug and check for water in the bottom of the pan!
