I'll see what I got by next week if your not in a hurry I might have a used one too

from the looks of it the coolent filter piece won't work with what I have. I need to figure out how the oil filter mount bolts on the engine as well , I'm not sure if there is more pieces involved or not.

When I converted mine I need the following-water pump, gaskets, oil cooler, oiler cooler tube to spin on housing, and spin on housing. Plus new O-rings. Remember there are two different size o-rings that look similar. As far as the water filter its just the water filter manifold and gaskets.

doesn't your 237 already have a coolant filter? if not it must be a really early one. I have only saw a few 237's with the 711 style water manifold and the big lubrifiner canister instead of spin ons.

yes Matt it is a early 237 out of a r my friend has a 71 r model with a 237 and the filter housing is mounted on the frame behind the cab, it's pretty much set up the same way my 711 was.
