I took the front tires off of my B-67 with 22" rubber. It has been awhile since I changed them ,if the tires are not centered you cannot get them off the spoke they hit the fender. I do not know if wheel opening is smaller on B-67's with the short nose compared to B-61's. Anyone know ? Thanks Joe D.

Don't know for sure, Joe but from pictures I'm looking at looks like a totally different fender, cut shorter to match the hood. I wonder how many had 22" rubber?!? Seems that may be rare for a B67.

The whole fender is indeed shorter and I "believe" the radius of the wheel opening is slightly less.

A friend had a B-65 with the little larger fender than the B-67 running 24.5s and it sure looked like the tire would hit the lower rear part of the fender opening but it never did. It was really close!

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Thanks for the replies. If wheel is not centered it hits fender when trying to take it off hub. I always thought Mack had about the best engineering until this. Mack must have hired a Paccar Engineer for measuring B-67 wheel openings. Joe D.
