But the increased complexity of the new trucks and the laws made them just kick the can for a while. While their "new truck" (2011 GU813 that I used to drive) hadn't given much trouble, they were weary of having the same luck with a second truck. So they instead put A TON of money into the RD. Only about half of what they would have spent on a new truck, they basically got a brand new truck, minus the frame rails.My buddy sent me these from the Mack dealer that did the work on Friday.New cab, new interior, new tanks, new fenders, new....everything. b615rich Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 Looks awesome. Given a good rebuild and the new parts I would think it will be very reliable. The R looks so timeless, I'd say a great return on the investment compared to new.
