On my 2014 Granite the mount on the right top side of the cab that holds the stack has a small shaft riding thru a bushing that is sloppy. Not even 1 year on the road. It is so annoying to listen to as it rattles. I tried putting a piece of rubber in between the cab and the mount but it is still noisy. Any ideas? I would think it isnt worn out since its so new.

I had the one on the granite (2011) i used to drive replaced, not due to rattles, but squeeks as the cab moved. Lasted about two years. My buddy is driving it now, and just had it done again, Mack did the first one "free", but i think they payed for this one

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

I was almost ready to just rip the f****r of the cab, flip the elbow on the "exhaust cube" behind the pass step and make it into a weed burner.....

Tried all kinds of crap, just collected more crud and made noise again....never thought of amor all.

it was more of a vibration from the stack wearing through the bushing at an angle from the arc of the cab moving....
