Popular Post Superdog Posted July 12, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted July 12, 2015 Last time Rob (thomastractorsvc) and family were up to get some parts,his wife took a liking to one of my A-54 tractors,so I added a 2nd for parts to the deal and we did some trading.They made the trip up for the i 80 show at Walcott in his '78 RWL766 and newly rebuilt trailer brought me these.Came home this a.m. and unloaded the B-30's and loaded the A-54's .It was pretty hot and 4 inches of rain yesterday made for some tough going,so I didn't get alot of pics,but we got them loaded. Can't wait to see it finished,the A54's are pretty scarce,I don't think I've ever seen one restored at a show anywhere. 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I found them the other day of it all together. whats the chances you parted with a Utica Boilers Mack on the same day as the Boilermakers road race here in upstate Ny. was a hot day to, I feel for the runners, 15K run! obviously the road race is named for the famed home and industrial boilers that have been made in Utica Ny forever Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't get to spend all the time I wanted to there,we got the G73 and my borrowed golfcart there Wed. nite about 8,got to do a little looking and visiting,then had to go home,worked all day Thurs.5 am to 1 am Fri. then had to work most of the day Friday,didn't get there till about 5:30. Then it started raining while I was out taking pics after breakfast Sat. am and rained until about 3 pm,then it cleared up. This hurt the old truck numbers some,quite a few pulled out and the ones that usually came for Sat. didn't . Rob & family took Wendy and I out to supper Sat. nite,that pretty much wrapped up the show.I'll post some pics in another post. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maddog13407 Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 found this old pic that was taken about 10-12 years ago. this is the second truck on Robs trailer(the one without the front clip) when it was still in Ny. think that's me sittin in the pass seat actually after we found it. this truck was complete with winch and gin poles and was originally owned by Central Steel Haulers in upstate Ny then by Utica Boilers.
