Will the truck pull good with an 18 sp and a 4.35 rear?Roughly how much would it cost to run air to the back for a tag trailer?Thanks for your time. Tuffguy707 Posted July 20, 2015 Share Posted July 20, 2015 That is a really nice truck, I'm jealous you found it first. I would LOVE to have this as it is exactly what I am looking for. It looks to be in great shape and the bed looks to be a decent build, not cheap like some beds you can get. Running air to the back for a trailer would not cost that much to do nor would it be that hard to do yourself. The 4.35 gears should bull pretty good with the 385 and 18 speed. The thing to look at is what the RPM's are at highways speeds, You do not want the engine revved super high running at 65 or even 70 mph. As far as the MP-8 engines being reliable, I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with them.
