My engine has similar pressure but runs like a Rolex! Just bought oil/filter as mine is LONG overdue for a change...Thinking about getting some Lucas also. My engine doesn't have a lot of miles on the overhaul, but it was 20? years ago when it was done.

Whats the pressure with fresh oil and filter?

yup, taller ones with about 1'' lines is the full flow. if its low on oil pressure might wanna check the air compressor. if it takes forever to build air its junk and is acting like an oil pump, takin down the oil pressure and pumping the oil right into the air tank

The two line by/pass oil filter engine should have a oil pan with a screen in the bottom that can stop up and hold the pressure down.The screen can be pulled out thru the bottom thru a removeable cover about 8" in dia.

Yes I have that pan. I need to clean that and change my oil before anything else.
