Popular Post david wild Posted August 27, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted August 27, 2015 Sent truck to the border to pick up new trailer, on 87 alone 3 DOT checks, last one near the top they spent 1 1/2 hours tearing truck apart, only to find no violations, cops kept commenting to driver they will let him go as soon as they find something, went over log for second time at same stop, Driver did not fill in commodity, driver answers that he is bobtailing, no commodity. still a violation, driver free to go. Is the DOT for safety ?? what is the safety issue with the no commodity, just chicken sh-t. I watch unsafe trucks all the time, when I ask DOT here in GA. why the driver is not stopped the answer is that 1 he is black and becomes a racial thing, 2 they have no money won't pay fine lose lic. end up on welfare. better to unsafe truck than another welfare case, and then wonder why I have a bad attitude, I hope Trump does win. at least I feel I can then get even. and yes for you liberals there are unsafe trucks with white drivers but they don't play the chicken crap race card, just get a ticket and move on. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Suffolk Police Motor Carrier unit, Suffolk Sheriffs Motor Carrier unit, NYSDOT and Nassau County Police. If it had anything to do with safety couldn't they let you fix an issue without giving you a ticket?Case in point, one time the DOT man pulled Big Jim over on 460 between Bedford and Lynchburg- probably the same a-hole that pulled me over for no reason one night- anyway, he didn't really find any violations, but Big Jim had his chain binders stuck down in the stake pockets of his trailer.The DOT man said that was "an unsecured load- I know, and you know, they aren't going anywhere but you need to put them in the headache rack."Big Jim said "can I just move them?" and the cop said "yeah, put them in the headache rack."So he did, but the cop wrote him up for it anyway. If the cop told him they weren't going anywhere, and he hung them in the headache rack so they were "secured", why did he have to write him up for having an unsecured load? When I make the right on 460 there was a Va dot a-hole that had a truck on the side giving him the what for. I go by with 14,000 foot of green cherry. The a-hole done a 360 watching me go buy. Slobber running out of both sides of his mouth. I said lord let there be green lights all the way to 581. Behold there were green lights and never seen the a-hole again. 3 Quote This is Mack country.
