Hi Everyone-

I'm starting to look around for "classic" Mack tractor. Show trucks are out of my league, but I'm not ready for a rust-bucket basket case either. I'd like to get an RS-700, R-700, maybe even a Superliner, but I'm limited to 10-foot garage doors at our shop.

Would any of these models fit (excluding the stacks)? My military road tractor and cargo truck clear the door with an inch to spare, so I'm hoping an old Mack with short stacks and no sleeper might fit.

Wish me luck on the search.

Good luck on the search!

No Mack for me yet...

I took a ride last week, with plans to return home with a Superliner. The truck was a bit of a disappointment (nothing major just a lot of little stuff) so I passed. This might be a blessing, as I discovered this week that my water well may not keep up, and my "truck money" may go to correct the situation.

I was looking forward to rolling into Gerharts with a Mack. Not this year!

I did get to put one of my toys to work though. Now its a water tanker in the driveway.post-18835-0-65421600-1443363040_thumb.j
