1979 Mack superliner project/parts

300 plus engine needs rebuilt

10 speed road ranger transmission

Rockwell rearends/ reyco suspension

3.70 rear end ratio

Truck is a project had it running- number 6 cylinder is burnt- no time for a project right now

Engine is disassembled but I have all parts to reassemble

cab is in decent shape needs work on drip edge and roof in one spot

Has aluminum frame

Hood and doors in good shape

Will consider parting out

Asking $3,600 for entire truck

Right side is different for external air cleaner. The balance looks pretty close. The yard near me in Medford had one no rust but dings for $1500.

Superdog may know better on the fit. Paul

Well looks like I got the old truck bought did some trading and some cash but wont get much done on it until winter I need to do some extensive rust repair on the cab or maybe find a replacement cab. Just wondering if the newer square hood RD cab may work as a replacement the cowl lines look the same but probably couldn't get that lucky..

Congrats on the new buy. By the looks of your RS, it's going to a good home.
