Junior9009 Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 My 89 R688ST with E-6 350 9-speed maxitorque will surge after upshifting or driving slow in a parking lot, field etc. I usually recover from this by either getting off accelerator or riding the clutch. Thinking maybe the throttle linkage? I replaced the clevis pin with a bolt and a castle nut to see if that helps (shaft on pin was worn). Took for a ride and it's still not acting right. Any ideas as what could be wrong?
