Probably is a B72 with the hard nose.

B70 had a soft nose.

B72 had a soft nose early on and then had a hard nose.

Time to check the number on the frame or Dave I. could let us know.

Only 98 B-72 units made total from 1956 to 1965

wonder why it had a 40 gallon tank on pass side if it was a gas job? I highly doubt anyone would repower a diesel with a gas job but ya never know.

Are the batteries under the drivers side door?

It is a B72. There were two floating around at one time, I don't know what happened to the other. I believe they came out of Lukens Steel in Coatesville, they were just used in the mill, then a junk man around New Holland got them. Unfortunately they seemed to have really lived a hard life. Probably were low miles, I never heard either one of them run.
