Interesting links but I've got some difficulties with reading.

My Russian doesn't help.

Don't know about the English spoken part of the community though :whistling:

This yellow thing was catched up in Moscow with my friend's camera in this past August.

Unfortunately he hadn't time enough to find the driver and talk with him.

My favorit of Iranian trucks is this old model.

Can you tell my what those trucks phisically are?

I mean model, type of engine, years of production.

It looks too close to the World War 2 military Mack trucks.

Almost looks like an a post WWII L series with a local manufactured cab on it.

Paul, there's more thin intrigue in the matter.

Mack NR's were used during WW2 for Lend-Lease transit through Iran to SU.

Some of them might be assembled from PKD form overthere.

This look similarity makes me wonder on the roots of that Iranian model.

And the cab you mentioned too looks like built basically as Mack military open cab.

I remember the BULLDOG (in the mid '70's) showing what seemed like 100's of R model dumps lined up in Allentown,bound for Iran.I think they were government trucks.Every now and then,they would show other Macks running in Iran. Al
