Looks like a single cylinder diesel. One injection line, one cylinder. Two injection lines= two cylinders, etc.

I had a Yanmar genset that was electric start with pull start as back up.

Count the plugs, divide by two, then multiply by three for the number of chambers....for Mazda's anyway lol
