Desperately seeking a parking brake assembly like the one pictured which has snapped due to metal fatigue. Does anyone know if this assy is exclusive to Ford? It kinds looks Budd-Cab specific so I am assuming that it may be Ford specific. This is for one of the "Pink Heals Tour" breast cancer awareness firetrucks. If it could be donated the owners of the rig would be grateful as they have limited funds. If anyone has one or a line on one, any assistance is appreciated.

TWO STROKES ARE FOR GARDEN TOOLS

It doesn't look broke, weld the old one up and reinforce it

I'm not exactly sure where it is broken, I did not take the pictures. Helping out my brother-in-law who is involved with this thing. I don't know if the folks are that handy to be able to do something like that. I certainly am not getting involved other than this post and several on FB....I have enough projects that I dont already have enough time for.....LOL

Ford specific and from the release knob is from late 1950's time period. Similar to Ford passenger cars. MACK and FWD both had an arm type hand brake. Easier to have your in law have a repair shop weld it up it it needs it.
