It's a cement truck, I was on the job (a luck) turning in an driveway to back up to the concrete pump. when i put it in forward and and the sterring wheel i heard a bid bang but the truck wasn't at the level so sometimes the truck akes this sound. I let the clutch come off and the engine stop... front wheels of the truck (12 wheelers) were not going the same place... still parked in the garage looking for that F..KING parts!!!

the new stub that i fitted had a different forging style to the one that broke, perhaps someone at Mack got their s*it together , It appears that going in reverse puts extra strain on the components, when u are going from lock to lock , let alone in soft going.
