Popular Post Underdog Posted November 9, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted November 9, 2015 My little F- model earned a little fuel money this weekend, spotting a few trailers for a neighbor.I had a bit of trouble turning with my short wheelbase and a 40" pin setting. Decided I am going to remove my headache rack and put on the original single exhaust stack. This will give more turning room, as I may get more work like this in the future. Posted November 9, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted November 9, 2015 Greg, my father's first F-Model (A Hayward with a 300/5-speed) was a single screw- he worked for a trailer broker (CE Danbury) and pulled mostly brand new trailers out of the Trailmobile Factory in West Point, Pa. He always bragged it was the absolute perfect tractor for trailer work.Later on when he got tied up with what was to become Jevic, the single screw had 800,000+ on it and was getting tired- plus he needed twin screws for freight work, so he bought an Allentown F with a 300 Plus and a 10-speed. We were parked across from you a few years ago at Macungie and my Pop fell in love with your toy.
