Cruiseliner parts

Recommended Posts

I found a cruiseliner at decent price, it needs a little TLC. So before striking a deal I called around about parts availability, to my utter amazement, Mack is no longer carrying parts for cruiseliners!! My question is, knowing this, would it be a good idea to get a truck that is being marginalized? If I get it, I'll need to chop the sleeper off for it to work out, so we're getting into some work. What do you folks think? To buy or not to buy, that is the question!! Hang on, I might be asking the wrong crowd about the buying part🙂. It's all Mack components 350/12spd,camelback. How much trouble will it be to find parts!

That's was the first thing I checked on getting that was no longer being made. They told me that I wasn't going to be able to get anything to do with the cab. Are there any junkyards or aftermarket parts out there that specialize in cruiseliners?

My local Mack dealer has been very helpful. There are some parts they can get. I bought new windshield rubber when I put new windshields in. Also got new wiper motors, cab lift cylinder this past summer. But like others have said parts are scarce. I have the part number for new glass if you like. Get urself a parts cab.

Remember if it's got a hood it's no good!
