2005 mack with 18 speed and full lockers. The 2 switches on the dash are push button with a light. When locking the rears the lights on the switch won't light up but the lockers are working. Without the light how do I know when the axels are not locked together. Or what is the proper way to engage and disengage the axel lockers? The power divider does work, the light on the dash works for it. any help? thanks.

You need the light or know which position the switch is in. Is the switch a rocker switch with different positions? If they are locked in, you should be able to feel it when turning left or right. Get the lights working. You have enough on your mind while driving, you dont need to worry about axles being locked.

In the off brands at work the light does not come on when u flip the switch, only when you turn or spin a little then axle is locked.

Turn switch off the light stays on until you drive strait for a little.

Does Mack work same way?
