try a cat construction equipment wrecker, a cat 631c or d series earth mover should have what you need.

Construction and industrial 3408 s use a smaller oil cooler. He's looking for the huge one for the Brake saver application specifically for a truck 3408 . The construction and industrial one would probably work but he'd have to block off the brake saver stuff on the engine and then he'd have no Brake saver which was Caterpillar's version of a jake brake in the early 80's. My dad had a freightliner with 3408 in the 80's I remember doing the oil cooler a couple times it was not easy. We ended up

blocking the brake saver off in the end.

Yes it is about 6 inches longer than a cooler off a piece of equipment, granted there is a chance I was told that some scrapers did have brake savers. Any leads would be great, WORKING TRUCK DOWN!!!!!
