Superdog Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 If it's a B75LT,the rears aren't original,as it would have been a single drive axle.Also it wouldn't have had a turbo.Not a deal killer though if done right. If it's solid as it looks,I wouldn't let it get away if you want it. That rear end looks like a lot of work (can't really see what's holding the rear axle). Would be an "S" if a factory tandem, but lots were stretched. I plan to do some things to mine, but stuff that would have been done in the "60's/"70's and keep it somewhat period correct for it's working era. No air ride or LED's for me . I paid about that for it back years ago. after an additional 4 donor trucks It is totally restored now. Start with something that you are comfortable with and find the one that is in the BEST condition you can AFFORD. You may change direction in the restoration and more than likely get another one for parts. descent trucks are out there but going up in $$. As long as the sheet metal is good with minimal rot, rust and dents it worth thousands in the body shop. Those rears look vintage correct and reverse camelback was available in 64 I believe. It maybe born a 6 wheeler but many truck have changes rears, engines, trans and frame length though their lives. If it is what you are looking for make a deal for it, worst is saying I should have bought it and passed.
