Look at it this way, 1)You're probably never going to part with it, 2) if it wasn't rust free than more than likely it wouldn't worth doing , You don't like the window entry so why live with it when you have an option, 4) if and it's a big if you wanted to put it back the rear cab panel is available.

My Bentz has doors like that. Big on passenger side. Just toolbox door on drivers side. Mine has tapered corners not cut outs. Wonder if that is Restrite?

Yep,the ones on a Superliner are a little taller than on a R model for some reason,but basic design is the same

Gosh, I'm having a hard time seeing how there's room for those brackets between the sleeper and the cab. Kind of a tight fit eh?

I redid the front of the bunk to match what I did to the cab.

I say cut it up and make it work. Unless you are trying desperately to "keep it original as possible".

The day I put the hole saw to the back of my cab.....whoooeeeee...........ain't no going back now.
