What's the story on 12.00 rubber in New England??? I see that often..

In R.I. it was for the weight laws, big rears big rubber 10 wheelers. In ct. we ran big rears and rubber too but not sure on the laws back then

That musta help speed up the grocery run!

She didn't like it because it wasn't a stick shift any more. Originally a flathead 6 with 3 on the tree. Put the 6 back in and the Hemi in a 58 Studebaker Hawk.

Got to say I'm envious of those of you who have photos of you and your trucks together. I have non of me and my trucks except a few in the back grounds Paul

LOL....my sister and her daughter are very, very stubborn and DEMAND a stick shift vehicle!!! Non of this pansy automatic crap for them. My niece went to buy her Audi A4 about a year ago and she picked one out. The salesman gave her a stern.>"oh, you don't want that one". She asked "why?". "It is a standard shift". She told him.."well, ya I know". Don't see many 24 yr old girls wanting a std shift.

My girlfriend can't drive a stick for nothing. Just doesn't have the "coordination gene" that is needed.

Wifes first car when we got out of High School was a 1969 Mustang Convertible 390, 4 speed. She has never owned an auto trans car. I think she had one of the few MT5 Taurus' made.

30 years ago I was working at Hagertown Powertrain in the E7 group. Attached is a pic of the first E7 installed in the test cell. In case you don't recognize me, I am the second from the left (behind the lady). Sorry for the sideways pic but it is a PDF and I do not have a full version editor.

Dashing looking lad.
