The train did a good job of disassembling that sterling. I posted the picture below right after it happened. The trailer got hung up on the tracks. My father wondered why the truck driver didn't pull the pin and save the tractor. Mike

it amazes me the depth those old reporters put in the newspaper back then. I have read other articles like that and it about mentions the family dog

This one read almost like an obituary, right down to the wife's maiden name.
