Arkona Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 I am restoring a 41 ED with a Clark 5.12:1 RA-40 rear axle. We are replacing the Continental 6 with a 4BT Cummins and need faster gears. j hancock Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 I have never found anything better than the 512 ratio that will fit. I would like to find a 410 ratio if it was out there. Gear Vendors overdrive or customize the axle would be options.What condition is the Continental engine in? Trans? Do you have plans for them? Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
