m16ty Posted December 31, 2015 Share Posted December 31, 2015 I've been in a truck when one blew. It didn't put a hole in the hood but sounded like a large bomb going off. I didn't know what had happened and expected to see the engine compartment full of carnage but the only thing wrong was the turbo hose had blown off.I could never to get the old hose to hold again after it blew off the first time. Like others said if it comes off under presure...Haven't seen them on angled charge air piping.
