These are two professors one from Kalifornia on terrorists with misinformation . Second is from Nebraska and got the meet Obama for her views after in SOTU address.

Still wonder where Liberals are made?

A newly-released video shows a professor at the University of California, Merced (UC-Merced) teaching his students that 90 percent of terrorist attacks in America are conducted by white men who are “religiously motivated and politically conservative.”
he video, recorded in October, was released by The College Fix. It shows professor Ross Avila lecturing his “Introduction to Psychology” class on the topic of heuristics, mental shortcuts people use when trying to assess information or solve problems.

To illustrate his point, Avila said that most Americans assume Muslims are the country’s largest terror threat because they haven’t thought about the matter systematically. “Ninety percent [of terrorist attacks in the U.S.] are from these white Caucasian men,” Avila tells the class. “I am not saying white men are evil – but that is what we should be thinking about. Usually they are people who are religiously motivated and politically conservative.” Avila then describes a supposed right-wing terrorist action that he said was ignored by the media. He said that just a few months before (meaning in the summer of 2015) a white Christian walked into the Texas statehouse and fired off 60 rounds from an AK-47, which he said was also terrorism even if nobody was hurt in the process.

That supposed Texas shooting is entirely fictional.. Later on, in response to a student’s question, Avila says the Sept. 11 attacks were “basically the only act of foreign-born terrorism that’s ever happened in the United States.” Much like with the invented Texas shooting, Avila’s statement is totally untrue. Just in the past few years, terrorist actions committed by foreign-born individuals in the U.S. include the Boston Marathon bombing, the Chattanooga military recruitment office shooting, and the attempted car bombing of Time Square. Ironically, just a few weeks after Avila’s lecture, UC-Merced student Faisal Mohammad (an American-born Muslim) went on a stabbing spree at the school, apparently in an act of solidarity with Islamic State. That was followed in early December by the shooting in San Bernardino, where one of the two shooters was foreign-born and both appear to have been motivated by Islamic extremism.

When contacted Avila defended himself vigorously, and linked to several on line articles to bolster his argument that most all white men are the country’s main terrorist threat. “A common heuristic about terrorists is that they are most often Muslim. I wanted to show the class that this was not the case, most are white christians” he says.

Avila quietly admits he completely mangled his facts in describing the Texas attack. He said he was actually thinking of an incident in Georgia in 2014, Avila says he first saw video of the incident in the summer of 2015 he thought Texas for some reason.

A University of Nebraska-Lincoln associate professor was given a personal invitation to meet President Obama following a speech in Omaha Wednesday because of her staunch anti-gun activism.

The woman, Amanda Gailey, an English professor, is also the director of a group known as Nebraskans Against Gun Violence, according to her Facebook profile.

In addition to her anti-gun position, Gailey doesn’t appear to be much of a fan of law enforcement either. In a public post on her Facebook page dated Dec. 28, 2015, less than a month before she met the president and the same day it was revealed that a Cleveland police officer would not face charges in the shooting death of Tamir Rice, Gailey unleashed a profanity-laced diatribe cursing the police, the National Rifle Association, prosecutors and others.

“F**k police officers who undertook a job that carries inherent risk but think any perceived threat to them whatsoever justifies instantaneous lethal force,” she wrote.

“F**k police officers who pull up as close as possible to an alleged threat so that they can execute the person as quickly as possible without assessing the situation first.”

That version of Gailey did not quite sound like the person who told the Lincoln Journal Star on Tuesday how excited she was to meet the president the following day. “I think it’s just wonderful that Obama has made this a policy priority,” she told the Journal Star. “I hope that it results in bringing this issue to the forefront of the political conversation in our state as the legislative session begins.”

The Journal Star reported that Gailey was among 10 members of Nebraskans Against Gun Violence who received a personal invitation from the White House to attend the speech at the Baxter Arena, but Gailey was the only one of them asked to meet Obama himself. She told the Journal Star Obama’s decision to expand the amount of gun vendors who have to conduct background checks was “really important mostly because they have put the issue forward as a major policy point.”

Perhaps the White House should have done a more thorough background check on the teacher it invited to meet the president.
