Funny you should mention the FB's. Stopped by the former Denver Branch on Saturday. I was in town for a few days and took these pics. It is now one of many Bruckners locations throughout the southwest. They too have a long history with MACK. Al (wish they wouldn't have covered up that old time Mack script with the neutered bulldog sign,though.😧)post-510-0-65538900-1453736248.pngpost-510-0-08467600-1453736294_thumb.jpgpost-510-0-73952800-1453736356_thumb.jpgpost-510-0-67132000-1453736430_thumb.jpgpost-510-0-40640700-1453736528_thumb.jpg

Ron isn't Castor & Erie now a Freightliner Dealer? I can't remember who.....At least it was when I worked at Jevic......I remember when I worked at the Willingboro Shop, they would call me at 5am at the house, and tell me "You're on the clock at 6am (normal report time was 0700) go pick up parts!" or they would tell me on the way home at 3:30pm "Hey can you run past Freightliner and pick up...xxxxxx and bring it in with you tomorrow AM?" (as long as it wasn't a hot part.....) They would always pay me O/T.

TWO STROKES ARE FOR GARDEN TOOLS

never knew there was a factory branch in Schenectady Ny. been by the one in Albany many times, then they moved to the old railroad station, now to Menands in the old Southworth Cat building. Also i dont think the Utica Ny one was ever a real factory branch. most trucks went through East Syracuse Mack sales then to Utica. that ust have been a long long time ago they were on Genesee street. they were on the south side of the river by where the new Fastrac is in Utica before they moved across the river to the new Marcy location. Funny story, my great grandfather traded into Utica Mack a bunch of building trusses on a brand new B61T mack... those trusses were used to build the new Utica Mack in Marcy. heard a few stories of him trading in my great grandmothers car in on a new B mode, and never tellin her, just takin the car and coming home with a new dump truck....the good old days.
