I have a R series operators handbook and it lists this transmission as an option. It has the TRL1078 main trans and Spicer1241C auxiliary. If you scroll down in the comments someone posted a link to complete specs. of this truck.It only has 68,000 original miles on truck from new. It was bought new for the U.S. Fish and game commission.Joe D.
