I defiantly hear Trump and wanted to believe but there just has been no substance or plan just rhetoric. If he could explain himself and policy maybe he win more than 50% of the party.

Just because the POTUS is a dud, do you think our country and economy can take another one? I don't want to take that chance and allow the US to slip further to left away from traditional morals and values and bigger government. I have three kids still in house they don't need to be saddled with anymore difficulty and debt than they already have.

Copy/Pasted from a story in the news today......

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Six states filed a new lawsuit Wednesday against the Obama administration over the Affordable Care Act.

The complaint that Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Louisiana, Indiana and Nebraska filed in the Northern District of Texas takes issue with the Health Insurance Providers Fee assessed to health insurers to cover federal subsidies.

The lawsuit says nothing in the Affordable Care Act's language provided clear notice that states would also have to pay the fee.

"This notice was not even provided by rule but was ultimately provided by a private entity wielding legislative authority," the suit says.

The suit seeks an injunction against the federal rules that say states are responsible for the fee. It also asks that states be refunded for what they've already paid.

The federal government has determined states must pay a portion of the fee to their Medicaid managed care organizations to then pay to the federal government. States get some reimbursement from the federal government for that money, but they end up losing 54 cents for every dollar of the insurance tax.

The suit says the fee is projected to allow the federal government to collect between $13 billion and $15 billion from states over the next decade.

Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel's office said in a statement that the state spent more than $23 million in such fees in 2014 and 2015.

....The states get their money from the same place the feds do, from todays AND tomorrows tax payers. I would hope that you and your children are/will be taxpayers.

We need Trump for a term to shake things up. As I said before, the guys that are smart enough to be president are smart enough to not run for president. Also, once you are sworn in, your COUNTRY is first! Not your religion! Keep religious beliefs out of office. Cruz made the statement he serves Jesus first, last I checked Jesus Christ didn't pay any taxes here.

Naw, He paid something far more valuable to all mankind.....but that's a story for another post. As far as Trump goes, you've got to look back to see where we've been before you can see who, out of those being offed would be best to lead us to where we're going. jmho

No doubt, anyone but loon Bernie or snake Hillary. As I see it, this is the last chance we have to reset our course and correct the damage the community organizer has done.

Having said that, when I step back and look at the big picture, I say NO WAY trump can win. Not saying he is good or bad, just saying do the math-he has alienated too many factions in this country.

Does he turn off a lot of Conservatives, Republicans? Yes

Does he turn off a lot of women? Yes

Does he turn off a lot of Hispanics? Yes

Does he need to convince a lot of people who have only voted the Democratic party line in their lives? Yes

Do all of the above have to vote in the majority to determine a winner? IMO for sure!

At this point he has appealed to the frustrations of a lot of us. But as many others have pointed out, when it comes to specifics, he has none- as I see it. He is a great tough talking, ass kicking cheerleader but if we think this country has been torn apart by the asshole we have now, what makes you think this guys style will make things any different.

As for a good candidate, I am one of those who says for sure I would like to see a gov. vs a senator get the nod- Christie in spite of his warts was right about one thing. Senators go to work and decide how they are going to vote- how they are going to align themselves on the issues of the day. A governor on the other hand is frequently forced to make decisions- hard ones that often have serious consequences.

We fortunately still have some time to sort this out. And who knows, maybe some dark horse will surface.

Oh last point- I believe Trump said how successful he has been. He started off with "only a million" that his father staked him. If I heard correctly, using that number let's say that a lot of us didn't start off with much.

Lets say you started your first job with probably about 500 bucks equity in a car/pick up whatever. Dad probably did NOT give you a big check. Maybe you still lived in the family house for a while but for sure you were not given anything.

Having said that, trump is now worth 3.1 billion. If you do a proportion and compare Trump at 1million/3.1 billion and your 500 bucks/"X", if you are worth 1.5million or more today, you have done better than Trump.

My bet is there are plenty of posters on this site that are in that boat!

I'm all for a politician that isn't far right or far left. There are good ideas on both sides but for the last 20+ years it's been one way or the other. Why does a republican have to be against abortion? Why does a democrat gave to be for obamacare? Now it's called alienating your party if you don't agree with everything 100%? I'd love to see immigration laws enforced and stricter rules on living here. I'd also like to see weed legalized too. I like big business and small businesses the same. We need both. Some (very few) people NEED welfare, the majority do not and the list could go on and on.

Here is something to think about with almost half of the Millennial Generation voters.

Washington Post Oped. 2/24/2016

As society, we’ve spent billions of dollars educating today’s youth. Bernie Sanders is proposing we spend even more and provide free college to all. But the truth is this: Our education system no longer teaches the fundamental lessons of history, human nature, and how money really works in a free society.

A survey from YouGov.org finds that millennials have more favorable views of socialism than of capitalism.

As Santayana said, those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Less than two decades after socialism seemed to have been confined to the dust-heap of history, another generation may have to learn hard lessons.

The survey, taken by YouthGov.org at the end of January 2016, found that 53 percent of Americans under the age 30, had a more than favorable view of socialism. Less than 19 percent of millennials had a favorable view of capitalism. No other age or ethnic demographic group ever preferred socialism over capitalism.

Go ahead kids, jump on your iPhones, post a SnapChat, spread it on Facebook and Twitter…You know, all those wonderful Socialist Social Media tools of today.

Easy, they are here ILLEGALLY! No anchor baby bs, Mexico NEEDS US TO EXIST and if we start a tariff on everything they export to us pretty soon all those pesos add up to a big assed wall. Which neither is unconstitutional, they snuck in so its time to pay the piper and go home. We need a president that our enemies are scared of unlike this ball-less spineless chicken livered turd in the White House who repeatedly makes empty threats and let's our enemies make a fool of him again and again, who also will not call it Muslim terrorism. He said he was more than willing to let Russia and China deal with Isis unless they become a more direct threat to us. He proposed a flat tax, and if you're applauding apple for helping terrorism shame on you. Any company doing business in the USA should realize how blessed they are and do their damndest to help in any way they can to combat terrorism not bring up some hippy liberal shit about privacy when it's really about them wanting to keep their encryption as secret as possible which could affect them financially. So there it is Apple is worried about lining their own pockets rather than work with the fbi to solve this problem.

I am not talking about Apple and the encryption, I am talking about how is he going to force Apple to give up the cheap labor in China for $15 hour minimum wage here in the US? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2103798/Revealed-Inside-Apples-Chinese-sweatshop-factory-workers-paid-just-1-12-hour.html

Trump says he will force Apple to manufacture in the US http://www.cnet.com/news/trump-says-hell-force-apple-to-manufacture-in-the-us/

What would Trump say if he was told the same thing? He already manufactures a clothing line in China http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trump-admits-gear-made-china-labels/story?id=13472355 sounds like Trump is Bull$hitting the Kool-aid Drinkers to me.

For as much as the Trump supporters around here like him because he isn't a politician, he acts more like a politician than everybody else in the race COMBINED! Will say anything he thinks voters want to hear (i.e. increasing ethanol subsidies while campaigning in Iowa) and if anybody mentions positions or opinions he has expressed in the past, rather than dealing with the substance of the point being made, he resorts to character assassination claiming the person is a liar and a nasty guy...then threatens to sue. Nevermind the fact that there is video proof with audio from Trump's own lips to back up what that other candidate is saying, since it shows a position Trump has held in the past that won't play well with voters, the other person is a liar for even bringing it up. I'm sorry, but the current occupant-in-chief was elected based upon his "hope and change" BS. I want substance. He never answers "HOW" he's going to make America great again, we're just supposed to accept that he'll do it. Now if you were hiring an employee, would you want to know what they intended to do and how they planned to do it? Or would you be satisfied with them answering every attempt to extract details by saying "I'm awesome. I'm the best. I'll get it done because I get things done. Those other guys are losers because they aren't me." Yet that is exactly what Trump is doing. Economic policy? "Get a bunch of really smart people together and get it done.". Foreign policy? "Get a bunch of really smart people together and get it done.". Doesn't matter what the question is, it's the same answer, because he doesn't have a clue. Give us SOMETHING! Name some of these "really smart people" you'd reach out to so we could examine THEIR qualifications on the subject matter. Perhaps an idea or two of your own how you'll "Make America great again". Then again, this country seems to be full of idiots who will vote for anybody who promises to give them enough free $#!+...and Trump certainly has tapped into that crowd. Health insurance for everybody. Bigger ethanol subsidies. Tax cuts. Trade wars. Building a wall. Lots of talk, but not much thought about the practical application of those policies or the overall affect. Good intentions don't mean squat unless you're a Democrat. As a Republican, results matter. Trump talks big, but I doubt he means a word of it. His positions today contradict where he stood prior to his candidacy, and once the campaign is over, who knows where his priorities will lie. That is what has me worried. The next president is likely going to be appointing 2-3 (or more) justices to the Supreme Court. Can Trump be trusted to pick justices who read the Constitution and decide cases based upon what it says? Or will they decide cases based upon how they feel and then "interpret" the Constitution however they need to in order to justify their decision? We've already got far too many of the latter, and just lost one of the former. The Supreme Court is THE biggest issue this election.

So isn't what trump saying exactly what the dems been preaching about taxing the piss out of businesses who moved out of country BECAUSE dems ran them out of here in the first place with taxing the "rich" and God awful epa, osha and every other regulation? No one can afford to do business in the US. Too many freeloaders, and that's why we may never get on track, the government lets border jumpers INVADE our country, pays them more in handouts than many middleclass families make, rewards them by paying more money for more welfare babies, then the dems promise this huge ever growing ILLEGAL population more handouts and makes the argument it's " unconstitutional" to require id to vote and guess what they get elected the other side hides from even talking about illegal immigration and we ( the middle class) get screwed into paying for it and the left stays in power. Unless we stop the border jumpers and require voter identification we will never get a fair election again.

The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.

Exactly my point, Trump is spouting Liberal rhetoric wrapped up in some bow with sugar on top. Instead of lowering corporate taxes and penalties he is using them as threats and intimidation to force a company to stay exactly what Bernie and Hillary suggest. Why not lower taxes, make small government, ease regulations?

This election seems to be mirroring the last two, with no good clear choices from the Republicans and only Ultra Progressive / Socialists on the other side. After reading quite a bit of the links posted, unless there is a miracle we are done for. Paul.

He had better put together a dream team and let me know who they are for my vote.

As a businessman Trump has been able to make the decisions and everyone has to follow that. He will not be able to do that if elected. Pennsylvania now has a governor who was a businessman. He has not been able to get any of his budgets past and doesn't seem to be willing to negotiate. He wants to raise taxes to pay for the depths that could have been avoided by the past administration and others.

I watched a program the other day in which the owner had 100 plastic molding machines that run 24/7. The facility was huge and latest in technology. The factory floor employees 7 people - that's it. The owner explained that model is the only way he can compete with China. So if factories are ever brought back to the US, they will be automated and have limited workers. It's the only way to be competitive.

We all want/need quality products to fill our needs, and want them made in the US. Could we afford it or be willing to pay the price? I think that someday when the workers in other countries want the same lifestyle we have, they will demand a higher standard of living and pay. At that time we may become competitive again or be able to product goods at fair price. Until that happens we will continue this course. My 2 cents.
